Principal Therapist & Director
I am an Occupational Therapist with many years experience in the field, working with children, families, teachers and adults. I graduated from the University of Sydney with a degree in Occupational Therapy in 2009. I uphold my registration status through the governing body, Ahpra.
Prior to graduating I worked as a personal carer and support worker with a range of people including the elderly and children with disabilities. I have a passion for working with families and being a member of the individual’s team. I aim to focus on the individual’s abilities and work from a bottom up approach to optimize therapeutic outcomes. I believe that it is integral to work in a multi-disciplinary team where significant others in the individual’s lives are a part of the planning and implementation of every day routines. All therapeutic intervention stems from a Sensory Integration and Neurodevelopmental framework.
I am the mother to 2 beautiful boys. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and love the outdoors.
Let’s work together to help your loved ones achieve their goal in their everyday lives and occupations.
Emilie de Lange
I am an energetic occupational therapist with a passion for paediatrics. I completed my master’s degree in Occupational Therapy in 2015, after which I worked in a specialized school for children and young adults with autism spectrum disorder and intellectual disabilities. I also worked in a private clinic providing school readiness activities for younger children. Prior to graduating I worked in summer camps for children with physical disabilities and have taught a wide range of sports to children of all ages (alpine skiing, water-skiing, swimming and dancing). I love to let my imagination run wild and believe that laughter is always the best remedy!
I strive to make therapy fun and engaging and am a firm believer in the collaborative approach, working alongside families, teachers and other healthcare professionals in order to reach your child’s full potential.
Outside of OT I enjoy an active lifestyle including hiking and camping and have a passion for traveling and exploring the world.
I look forward to getting to know your children and am excited to help them achieve their goals!
